1. What HomeHands Kenya is

HomeHands Kenya is a listing platform where domestic workers publish their own profiles and employers find and contact them. We are not an employer, employment agency or bureau. We do not recruit, place, vet, train, supervise or guarantee any worker or employer. Any employment relationship is solely between the employer and the worker.

2. Workers

Listing is free. Workers must be 18 or older and must give true information. By publishing a profile, a worker agrees that it, including her phone number, is shown to paying employers. She can hide or delete her profile at any time.

3. Employers and the KES 300 fee

The one-time fee of KES 300 gives the paying account access to the contact details on the platform for as long as the platform operates. The fee is for access to the platform, not for any worker or outcome, and is non-refundable once contacts have been viewed. If you were charged and access did not open, contact us with your M-Pesa SMS.

4. Safety

Meet workers in person, check their identity documents and references, and never send money in advance. Report anything suspicious. We may hide or remove profiles and accounts that break these terms.

5. Reviews

Only employers who opened a worker's contacts can review her. Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. We may hide reviews that are abusive or false.

6. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for the conduct of any user, or for any loss arising from an arrangement made between users.

7. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
